Lucky Case Game

The "Lucky Case Game" is a tie-in for the viewing audience to attempt to win a smaller cash prize during the airing of the episode. The initial use of the game used a full 26-case game, but this was eventually reduced down to 6 cases, and fewer cases have been used at other times. The home viewer would select one of the shown cases and either text message or use the show's website to submit their entry during the show's airing; separate games were run for East/Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zone viewers. Those that selected the winning case were then entered into a random drawing, and the winner along with the winning case was announced at the end of the show. The minimum prize value for this game has been $10,000, but starting in the second season, some games featured increased prize amounts up to $100,000 (there was also a one-time $1,000,000 prize at the start of the third season).
